QR Code usage has accelerated over the last 2 years, with many brands adopting this technology to improve their ROI and ease business operations.
But when it comes to investing in QR Code generators, many enterprises are reluctant to do so—the main causes of concern being security breaches and cyberattacks.
Here at Uniqode, we place the highest premium on data security, follow the best-in-class security practices, and comply with data protection regulations.
When it comes to enterprises, we understand that a crucial priority is secure user logins with authentication.
With Single Sign-on being one of our key enterprise offerings, we always ensure that logins to our platform are secure and authorized to minimize risk and provide a safe user experience.

What is Single Sign-on?
Single Sign-on (SSO) is an authentication service that enables users to log in to multiple applications using one set of credentials. With the help of Uniqode’s SSO login, authorized users can seamlessly log in to the dashboard with just one click.
How does Single Sign-on work?
Single Sign-on involves:
- The user
- A service provider (the application you want to access)
- An identity provider (who verifies the user’s identity)
Examples of identity providers include Auth0, OneLogin, and Okta.
Here’s how it works:
When a user tries to log in to an application (the service provider), the service provider (SP) sends a request to the identity provider (IdP) to verify this user’s identity. Once the IdP has authenticated this user, they will be logged in to the application.
In order for SSO to work, it relies on open standard protocols (such as SAML and OpenID) to define how service providers and identity providers can exchange identity and authentication information with each other.
Uniqode’s SSO uses the SAML protocol. This ensures that users can log in to the dashboard securely using their organization’s credentials while preventing identity theft.
Providing SSO became a necessity for us. Here’s why
As we scaled up, the need to provide a secure login system grew paramount.
Every organization has multiple teams, and each team would require its own environment within our platform to collaborate and communicate. This also applies to cross-functional team collaborations.
The challenge here is that every employee would require their own set of login credentials to access our platform, which is a colossal amount of usernames and passwords to create (and remember).
So at this point, we decided to simplify the login process while also authenticating every single user that logs in to our dashboard—and that is how we started to provide Single Sign-on to our enterprise customer base.
How does this set us apart from our competitors?
Uniqode is the only platform in the QR Code space that provides SSO to its customers.
Besides providing a thorough authentication service to authorized users using SAML protocol, we are the first QR Code platform in the world to be SOC 2® Type 1 & Type 2 certified.
Additionally, we have an extensive portfolio of security features, such as two-factor authentication, multi-user access management, and URL phishing detection to ensure that our customers’ data is safe.
Hence, we can name Uniqode the safest QR Code generator in the market.
What does SSO ensure for our enterprise customers?
With Uniqode’s SSO offering, we can ensure that every single user can easily log in to our platform from a single point of authentication. Using SAML SSO, you and every authorized member of your organization have complete control to securely log in without the risk of security and identity breaches.
Our responsibility is to protect and safeguard our customers’ data. We never want to compromise on security and confidentiality, which is why we will continue working hard to provide enterprise-grade protection to our customer base.
